"Learning to Say GoodBye"


	I've loved you such a long time,
since the moment we first met.
now we're good friend and nothing more,
And my heart's filled with regret.

	I want to tell you how I feel,
but I don't know what to say.
Will you lay your hand in mine,
or will you turn run away.

	And every night before I sleep,
I pray God will watch over you.
For I know that if you went away,
inside I would die too.
	
	For it's so hard to walk away,
when you feel the way I do.
But there's just one way that I know how,
and we'd loose our friendship too.

	When I let you read this note,
I know that I will cry.
But I don't know any other way,
So I guess this is goodbye.
